Square Enix reveals Murdered: Soul Suspect – “What is the hardest case to solve?”
Square Enix launches a teaser site to their upcoming game Murdered: Soul Suspect.
There’s not much details about the game but we do expect it to be a murder mystery just based on the information that we are gathering from around the WWW.
Going on the teaser site, we can see that the game will be released on all major consoles, and PC. Oh wait….cross that Wii U is not included….as of right now… (Good job Nintendo! Two thumbs on progression~!)
The site doesn’t show much, apart from a symbol of what looks like “Ronan”. If you go to this site and enter in the password “Ronan”. It will allow you to download an evidence file.
Opening the zip file you will be revealed a picture.
If you look closely at the picture you’ll see a male body laying on the ground, with another man’s shadow hovering over it. It’s quite dark and on a rainy day, perfect day for murder. Shops in the background are for rent and closed up, one of the stores has a phone number with a phone number starting with an area code of “725”. Doing a little research on the area code, it’s listed as Southern Nevada in the USA.
But this area code won’t be active until the new year, 2014.
More teasing that this game might be released in 2014? (Great job in teasing us so far, we need more clues!!! Eyes profiling the picture searching every corner of the screen)
Square Enix has done an excellent job with the teaser, I hope many more games will be as interactive with gamers like Sqaure Enix has done.
Further investigating the actual file of the .jpeg (right-click – properties), we gather the following information
- Title – The hardest case to solve
- Subject – O’Connor, male, mid- 30s, 170lbs, 5’ 11”
Comments – Detectives aren’t supposed to get bloody knuckles, but I’ve done a lot of things I wasn’t supposed to do. I lived through it all, the beat-downs, the back-stabbing, disrespect most people wouldn’t see in ten lifetimes and I never lost a fight… until now
I like what I’ve seen from the teaser so far, it is a neat way of exposing a game, we will be following this one a little more closely.
Keep us updated if you find any new evidence!
